Who we are
This policy covers the website frogcoder.com, operated by FrogCoder (“FrogCoder”, “we”, “us”). We are responsible for the personal information collected through this website.
If you have questions about this policy or your information, contact us through hello@frogcoder.com.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you use the contact form, you send us your name, work email, company (optional), the type of help you need, and a description of your project. We also record the page you sent it from and when. Please don’t include sensitive personal information in your message.
Confirmation email. When you submit the form, we send one confirmation email to the address you entered, showing what you sent. We don’t add you to a mailing list, and we only email you again to reply to your enquiry.
Spam protection. To stop automated spam, the form includes a hidden field and checks how quickly it was completed. Your IP address is used briefly to limit repeated submissions; it is held only in temporary memory and is not stored with your enquiry.
AI Readiness Check. Your answers are scored in your browser and saved only in your browser’s local storage so you can see your results again. They are not sent to us. If you choose “Discuss your results”, a short summary of your score is added to the contact form, and sent to us only if you submit the form. Because that summary travels in the page address, it may also appear in our hosting provider’s request logs.
Technical information. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically processes basic request data, such as IP address, browser type, the page requested, and the time of the request, to deliver the site and keep it secure.
We do not use advertising trackers, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
How we use your information
- To reply to your enquiry and arrange a discovery call.
- To understand your needs and prepare a proposal, if you ask for one.
- To operate, secure, and troubleshoot the website.
- To meet legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it to train AI models.
Legal bases
Where data protection laws such as the GDPR or UK GDPR apply, we rely on our legitimate interests in responding to business enquiries and running a secure website, on steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, and on legal obligations where they apply.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for as long as needed to respond and to manage any resulting relationship, and then delete them unless we need to keep them for legal or accounting reasons. Enquiries are kept in our email inboxes; our email delivery provider keeps a record of sent messages for a limited period set by its service. Hosting request logs are kept for a limited period set by our hosting provider.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to withdraw consent where we rely on it.
To make a request, contact us through hello@frogcoder.com. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
You can clear your AI Readiness Check results at any time by clearing your browser’s site data for frogcoder.com, or by retaking the check.
Security
The website is served only over HTTPS, and we limit who can access enquiries. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information. See our Trust Center for more.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page when our practices change, and revise the date at the top. Significant changes will be highlighted on this page.
